NDCOA Volunteering at Urban Roots

Join the ND club of Austin for a day of volunteering at Urban Roots Farm on Saturday, October 21 from 9-11:30am. Let’s spend Notre Dame’s BYE week doing some good for the community. We’ll be meeting at Urban Roots East Farm at 7651 Delwau Lane, Austin, TX 78725.
We encourage everyone to wear their ND gear in order to help us identify each other! Please also wear closed toe shoes and bring a water bottle. There will be stations to refill the water at the farm. Everything else you will need will be provided.

Who The minimum age to participate is 10 years old. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is from their same household and is age 21+ (both must register)
What Our young leaders will to teach you what you need to know to help us grow thousands of pounds of fresh food! Our farm needs volunteers to plant, cultivate, and harvest fruits and vegetables. You only need an open-mind, ready to receive instruction from our youth leaders.

Time: 9am to 11:30pm Volunteer shift starts promptly at 9am, so please arrive by 8:45am to get signed in and ready to go. All volunteers are required to stay for the duration of the shift.
