Location : Central Texas Food Bank, 6500 Metropolis Dr., Austin
Spend Saturday, October 16th serving up some good. Join the NDCoA volunteer team from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM as we support the Central Texas Food Bank by inspecting, sorting, cleaning, and packaging donated food and non-food items for distribution throughout their network.
Only 20 volunteers can participate and are expected to participate for the entire 3.5 hours. Shifts take place in a warehouse where temperatures are variable. Learn more about volunteering at CTFB by watching this video.
Children above the age of 8 can participate, and all individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must fill out a registration form.
**Safety protocols will be enforced** Volunteers must comply with COVID and safety protocols including, and not limited to, wearing masks, refraining from volunteering if they have symptoms of any illness, have been in contact with others who have tested positive for COVID, and other precautions. Please review the organization’s full policy.
We are excited to again support the Central Texas Food Bank’s mission of ending hunger in the region. Please contact Dea Satrio at [email protected] with any questions.
