CASA Superhero Run – Notre Dame Club Of Austin

The ND Club of Austin is using our superpowers to help kids by fundraising for the 2013 CASA Superhero Run. CASA speaks up for children who’ve been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. CASA volunteers – true superheroes – ensure that each child’s individual needs remain a priority in an over-burdened child welfare system.

I hope you’ll sign up to run/walk with our team (Notre Dame Club of Austin 4 CASA) on September 21 and/or donate to help a child have their own superhero, a dedicated CASA volunteer.

We are also forming a ND club volunteer group to help with pre-race set-up the evening before the race.

Details about the Superhero Run event are below. ND Club of Austin participants are encouraged to wear a superhero costume or Notre Dame attire.

On race day (9/21) we will meet at the west/south end of the hangar around 7:45AM.

7 am – Registration, Check-In (T-Shirt and Bib Pick-Up), Costume Contest and Superhero Activities
8 am – Kids 1K Race Starts
8:30 am (approx) – 5K Starts
Race & Costume Contest Awards Ceremony after 5K

DISTANCES & REGISTRATION FEES

5K Chip-Timed Run (Capped at 1,900 registrants):

$30 through 11:59 pm, Friday, September 13th
$40 through close of online registration at 3 pm, Wednesday, September 18th
$50 at packet pick-up and on race day

Kids 1K (Capped at 600 registrants):

$15 through 11:59 pm, Friday, September 13th
$20 through close of online registration at 3 pm, Wednesday, September 18th
$25 at packet pick-up and on race day

Super Dog: $5 – Please register your Super Dog if you would like to enter them in the Super Dog costume contest! This pricing option will be an add-on to your registration on the second page.
