This year our Hesburgh Lecture will feature Professor Mary Ann McDowell of Notre Dame’s Department of Biological Sciences. Professor McDowell will discuss the initiatives of the Eck Institute for Global Health and her research at the University. The lecture will be in the Maloney Room of the Main Building at St. Edward’s University on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7pm. We will host a reception for Professor McDowell in Holy Cross Hall after the lecture has ended. Please click here for a map of the St. Edward’s U. campus.
Since 1986, the Hesburgh Lecture Series has brought a taste of Notre Dame’s academic excellence to alumni and their local communities. The lectures, hosted by Notre Dame Clubs, have perpetuated the example of President Emeritus Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., as a lifelong learner.
