DESCRIPTION:The Notre Dame Club of Austin is proud to announce our nex
 t Service Project coming up in early May with the Central Texas Food B
 ank.\n\nThe Central Texas Food Bank works with food donors across the 
 country\, financial supporters\, and volunteers to fill unmet needs in
  Central Texas. This commitment from private\, government\, and charit
 able partners has allowed them to bring nearly 54 million meals to our
  community last year and into the hands of families and local nonprofi
 ts that turn to them for help.\n\n\nAs a warehouse volunteer\, you’ll 
 help us inspect\, clean\, sort\, box\, and prepare donated food and no
 n-food items to distribute to our Partner Agencies and distribution pr
 ograms and the folks they serve. Here is a video that details what you
  can expect as a volunteer.\n\nLocation\n6500 Metropolis Drive\nAustin
 \, TX 78744\n \nDate: Saturday\, May 7\, 2022\n \nTime: 8:45am to 12pm
  \nThe volunteer shift starts promptly at 9 am\, so please arrive by 8
 :45 am to get signed in and ready to go. All volunteers are required t
 o stay for the duration of the shift. For safety reasons\, volunteers 
 who arrive more than 30 min late will not be allowed to join their gro
 up for the shift.\n \nFacility\nIndoors: Some volunteers will be asked
  to work in a cold area or hot area that is not air-conditioned for th
 e duration of the shift.\n \nRegistration link: http://notredamealumni

 erved for our group.\n\nProtocols \nPlease make sure you wear closed-t

 ligibility\nAge: The minimum age to participate is 8 years old. Minors
  under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is from their
  same household and is age 21+ in order to serve. Both the minor and a
 dult must create an account and register for their own volunteer spot.
 \n\n\n\nCOVID: The Central Texas Food Bank is now a mask optional faci
 lity for vaccinated individuals. Please see the FAQ page for the most
