Shady Girgis, the Club’s SSLP student, invites ND Club of Austin members and guests to a July 5th cookout at Garden Terrace, an affordable housing community owned by Foundation Communities that provides housing for single residents who are exiting homelessness or are low income.
Like Abby Ferguson last summer, Shady is working with the Garden Terrace community as his Summer Service Learning Project under the auspices of ND’s Center for Social Concerns. Terrace supervisor, Sophia Barbato is an ND alum.
